The Rabbit Chair

This is a altered art chair. It's a new project and a new direction for me. This is the very first chair that I completed and I plan on doing more of these.

The chair is a wood dining room chair that I painted. I added stencils and stencil paste along the rungs and just under the seat. Hand-drawn polka-dots run along the legs and sides of the chair.

The tops have two found rabbit sculptures attached.

The seat is all done in collage with the addition of some hand-drawing and the seat is finished with a pom-pom trim.
This particular piece will be displayed in my upcoming graduate thesis show.
