"Iris House"This is a found birdhouse which I altered. I really fell in love with the architectural details of the front of this birdhouse.
This piece measures 11.5 x 6.5 x 5". The birdhouse has been painted several times, once in a blue/green color, then black, and finally off white to give it an aged and weathered look. Vine stamps were applied all over the house and the remaining sides of the house have been collaged in decorative papers and vintage images.
The roof is made of tin and has been distressed. A layer of micro-glitter has been applied to both the roof and the bottom edge of this house. Bead garland in blue/green and white colors finishes this piece.This birdhouse is titled, signed, and dated on the bottom. "Collage Cube Shelving"This is art to display your art.
These are two cube shelving units that I have altered.
Both cubes are covered in decorative papers and wrapped in a copper fine guage wire. Both pieces have a copper colored metal filigree on all four corners.
I used nails to hang these shelves when I took the photo, but they are designed as floating shelves.
The largest cube measures 7 x 7x 4.25". The inside of the largest cube is 6 x 6 x 4.25".The smaller cube measures 5 x 5 x 4.25". The inside of the smallest cube is 4 x 4x 4.25". These shelves are available for purchase at my Etsy shop. http://sarahogren.etsy.com SOLD
