A Couple of New Pieces

"Who Puts A Leash On A Frog?"

"The Swallow Kept Trying To Tell Her To Flap Her Arms"
Both of these pieces are collages on a resin plaque and measure just under 8x10". Both are available in my Etsy shop. http://sarahogren.etsy.com

I'm Published!!!

I'm so excited! my "Crow" art doll was published in the Spring 2008 issue of Art Doll Quarterly. Yay! I just received the issue in my mail today and I'm just giddy!

They Enjoyed Bird Watching

This is a collage on canvas board with an altered frame.
I found this wood frame at a flea market. It looks like it was something that someone made by hand. ...the carvings on the front of the frame look hand carved. It reminds me of the work that was being produced for craft fairs in the 80's and 90's. It was brown and looked very "country", but I loved the shape of the piece and the carved details and had to have it (I bought two of these).
This piece is available at my Etsy shop. http://sarahogren.etsy.com

Bunny Angel

"Bunny Angel"
This is an altered art sculpture. The body is a found piece that I altered using paper, paints and some doodles. I then hand sculpted the head out of paper clay. This piece is now available at my Etsy shop. http://sarahogren.etsy.com

The Red House

This is my newest collage house sculpture which is now available at my Etsy shop. http://sarahogren.etsy.com

New Brooches and New Collage Work on Canvas

"Bunny's Green Dress"
This is the first in the new series of collages on canvas. Each of these 5x5" collages will be different, but will coordinate with one another. These can stand alone, or group them together to make a larger piece.
I will be listing three more of these throughout the day.

"Bunny" Brooch

"Owl Lady" Brooch

These are the two new designs of brooches that I have available. Both are all brass with a collage image.
All of these pieces are available at my Etsy shop. http://sarahogren.etsy.com

Collage Boxes

Both of these pieces are wooden boxes that I have altered by adding the decorative rope moulding and embellishments to, as well as adding the collage images. Both of these pieces are available at my Etsy shop. http://sarahogren.etsy.com

The Teeny Tiny Art Show II

"She Liked To Bring Her Lunch To Work"

"She Just Wanted To Be Alone"

"Must You Always Follow Me?"

"Bye House"
The title for this piece came from my adolescent years. I had a friend who would always pass my house when she was driving me home and I would always say, "Bye house" as she passed my home.

"A Couple Of Dear's"

These are a few of the pieces that will be exhibited at the Three Graces Gallery in Portsmouth, NH. The show is called the "Teeny Tiny Art Show II". The show is from 2/8-3/10. You can find more information at http://www.threegracesgallery.com
Each piece is a collage on canvas and each measures 5x5x1.5".
I won't be at the show, but my work of course, will be. :)

"The Little Orange House" and a New Art Doll

"The Little Orange House"

This is a little, wooden, collage, house. Stamps and hand-drawn details embellish all sides of this piece. This is the smallest of my collage houses, measuring 4 x 4.5 x 2". I will be posting a slightly larger collage house than this one, but smaller than the original collage house, in the next week or so.

This is my newest art doll. She is made of wood and is quite petite, measuring 1.5 x 3.5 x 0.75". She has a collage front and the back and sides of the doll are painted black. This piece as well as the collage house above are available in my Etsy shop. http://sarahogren.etsy.com
