I just read your etsy profile and I need to go back so I can see the collobative work you are doing with your mom but I had such a connection to your thoughts on staying close our joy (child) and the texture of life that I was drawn over to your blog. I LOVE your artwork and am so thrilled for you to be selling at Urban Outfitters!!! That has got to be so exciting for you. I know I'm excited for you! Best wishes on much success in everything you do. Valerie
Oh, this is wonderful! I'm going to place my order right away. I've bought stuff from you on Etsy and others have purchased your work for me as a gift, but I have always wanted a larger piece. So this is perfect.
I check your blog often, but I'm a lazy commenter. So, I thought I'd take a second to speak up. Your work inspires me so much and I'm actually planning to write a blog post about how your art inspires the youthful imagination that still dwells in my 36 year old body.
My blog isn't about art, it's about how our rodent friends are so fully integrated into our lives. They are almost human (or at least they allow us to treat them as such). Your work gives me great joy. It fuels my imagination, and that helps me be a better mom. But it also helps me identify with the (often dark) adult in myself. There are so many things to see in your work. I love it! I will send you a link to the post when it's up; I hope I do it justice. I have lots to say, but I'm not necessarily a good writer.
Angie, Hearing that my work fuels your imagination is wonderful and is a awesome compliment. Thank you! I have always thought that art is not just about pretty pictures or pushing peoples buttons, but rather it's about inspiring others; inspiring action, change, or thought. Thanks for your comment!
I just discovered your art through the purchase of two of your Urban Outfitters pieces. I absolutely adore them! I'm glad to find you have an etsy shop as well. I'm totally eying a lot of your pins now.
Wow, that's impressive. Congratulations!
